The process of getting trusted homecare services can be simple. Premier Homecare Services is approachable; just give us a call to get started. We invite clients to be critical and communicate their needs. This allows us to adapt to the needs best suited to our clients.
After giving us a call, we will set up an in-person meeting at a date and time convenient for you. Meeting face-to-face is important in determining what services are right for you. We care about our clients and want them to feel cared for and comfortable. Once we determine what services are needed, we will carefully select a caregiver best suited to your needs. After that’s complete, we will introduce them to you. It’s important to meet with your caregiver before beginning the service. At the end of the day, the final decision on who will be taking care of you is yours.
Caregiver Matching
Matching the right caregiver(s) to you is a very important decision, and one that we put a lot of emphasis on. This service sets Premier apart from other homecare providers in Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph regions, London, and Sault Ste. Marie. The benefits of caregiver matching are numerous and have a positive effect on you and our caregivers.
Beyond the uniqueness of caregiver matching, we also ensure that we introduce the caregiver to you. This increases your comfort level with starting something new and decreases your anxiety over having a “stranger” come into your home.
Caregiver Selection

We conduct a telephone interview asking specific questions.

We have a face to face interview with the candidate being interviewed, by no less than two people.

We conduct an in-depth criminal background check (including vulnerable sector search).

We check a minimum of two professional business references and finally, we have the successful candidate attend our new employee orientation.
This is all before assigning them with a client.
Our Caregivers
Our caregivers are insured in three areas:
Professional liability in case a client is somehow injured due to caregiver negligence.
Fidelity bond in case something is broken or stolen in the client’s home by one of our caregivers.
WSIB/worker’s compensation in the event that a caregiver is injured in a client’s home.
