January is Alzheimer Awareness Month.  It marks the start of a new year and new challenges to the Alzheimer Society's accross Canada.  Canada is facing a dementia epidemic and needs to work towards finding a cure and supporting people affected by it in new ways.  The Rising Tide: The Impact of Dementia in Canada, was released in newspapers across Canada on January.04, 2010.  The study speaks to the increase cases of dementia and outlines some hard to swollow facts about where our country is heading if we don't start moving in a proactive direction.
