TestimonialsA heartfelt thank you to all you and your commitment to caring for our Mom and also Dad. Your services helped keep Mom at home so both she and Dad could be together. What a tremendous gift at this stage in their lives. Dad thought so much of all of you. Thanks for all you have done and your compassion when Dad passed away. Elaine (family) ![]() Thank you so much for all your help and support. It meant a great deal to us knowing we could always count on you. Your caring and keeping in touch and all the extra little things and time spent are just some of the reasons that you and your organization stand out from the rest and are the best. Please don't ever change because your humanistic and professional approach are one in a million and make you Angels unique. Thank you so much. Michelle, Mario, Chantale(family) ![]() I found myself quite concerned about my parents and sought private care. Luckily, I came upon the ad in the phone book for Angel Associates Algoma (Premier Homecare Services). I was received with courteousness and a commitment to caring and providing the services I needed to suit my parent's needs and lifestyle. The owners, Laurie Isaacs and Lori Aubrey complement each other in their approach to customer service and individualized care. They were always available to answer any questions or address any concerns we had regarding my parents. They made site visits to monitor their staff and ensure my parents were familiar with them as business owners and supervisors. Whenever there was a concern expressed by a visiting PSW, one of the Laurie's would follow up with a call to me to ensure I was aware of any changes and to clarify their concerns. As a registered nurse, I feel confident to recommend this company as one that provides quality care according to the standards of practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Lucy (Clients Daughter) ![]() "Margie worked at first in my parents' home, then at a hospital, and finally Nursing Home. Her primary role was as caregiver for my 89-year old mother who is physically well, but suffers from dementia. Everyone in the family has been genuinely pleased with the care and personal support provided to my mother. Margie showed herself to be exceptionally dependable, competent, respectful and kind. Margie anticipated needs, was sensitive to the impact of Mom's illness on my father, and was effective at distracting and re-directing my mother during difficult periods earlier in her disease. She has interacted effectively with staff at the hospital and nursing home, with respect to more urgent situations as well as daily routines. In brief, Margie cared for Mom as well or better than a member of the family could, and proved a stalwart and reliable companion and helper even in difficult situations. Margie's role was enhanced by the availability of Sally to fill in one evening a week. Sally fitted in seamlessly, providing reliable and personal care that went beyond her duties. With these two ladies to provide daily coverage the family was able to enjoy our time with Mom to a much greater extent.” Gilbert, Client's Son ![]() "My name is Dorothy and I am 88 years old, living alone. I was wondering how long I would be able to carry on with the tasks of day to day living until I heard about Premier Homecare Services. After an interview, I was sent caring, compassionate caregivers to suite my needs, enabling me to remain in the home I love." Dorothy, Client ![]() "I am writing to thank you for your help during the last week. I appreciate your attentiveness to the needs of my mother and finding such a helpful companion for her. We will definitely contact you again as soon as we need your help in the future." Christine, Client's Daughter ![]() "I want you to know how pleased I am with your agency's exceptional services. The care-giver you chose for me is not only very competent and professional in meeting my conventional needs, but she has also, gradually, over the months, transformed an extremely disorganized and cluttered apartment into a clean and tidy, safe and secure environment for me, a partially-disabled man in my ‘80s. Additionally, she’s proven to be a very patient and careful driver, so I don’t worry like I would in a taxi when she drives me to church or the mall or coffee shop. With this kind of friendly assistance from Premier Homecare, I’m looking forward to enjoying more precious years of independent living." Campbell, Client ![]() Here is what our caregivers are saying.. "I wanted to find a role in society that was not predominately profit-oriented, that cared about people. Given my history of taking care of family and friends, and my enjoyment of the quieter, calmer attitude of seniors, caregiving seemed a good choice. I love hearing people's stories and find it good to find out that people are in spite of their problems and limitations. I like that Premier meets with potential clients, keeps a record book in their homes and goes with the caregiver the first visit to introduce them. I also like that if I need to sound off or have a problem; I call Premier and am treated with patience. I feel comfortable giving them input and discussing issues." Barbara - Caregiver ![]() "I always have had the passion for taking care of elder people. Cargiving, for me, is a very rewarding job. Relating with them and giving care for elderly is what I always wanted to do. I know they need a person like me who can give them understanding and compassionate care in every way, seeing them smile when they feel you meet their needs." Elisa - PSW, Caregiver ![]() "Since 'growing up' I always wanted to take care of my parents and grandparents because in this generation you don't find many people who are as compassionate about families. This is why I had chosen this field, because I enjoy working and socializing with seniors. I enjoy working for Premier Homecare; I think they are a fantastic agency to work for. They are well organized with great team workers." Shaneeza - PSW, Caregiver ![]() Here is what people in the community are saying about us.. "Oh behalf of the Centre and its members, I would like to thank you so much for organizing the Lunch & Learn last Friday. The event was a big success with over 40 people in attendance. The presentations were excellent (members are still commenting on how informative you all were) and the food was great! Jane, you did a superb job of putting it all together." Monique, Syme 55+ Centre ![]() "On behalf of the Scarborough Hospital’s Patient Service Group of Family Medicine and Community Services, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation at our 10th Annual Celebration of Diversity day. The display you provided was excellent and definitely resourceful for our community and the hospital. We thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to attend this event and look forward to your continued support in years to come."
